When i started this card, i had 2 challenges in mind. By the time it was finished, it fitted 12 challenges!!!!

Challenge: Everybody Art



For this page i used the challenge over at Everybody Art and Karmen's photos.

Challenges: 2 sketches in 1



1. Sketch & Stash - sketch ... for the first time, used my broken china Distress Ink
to STAMP
2. Sketch Maniac - sketch ...

* Used my corner punch to round 2 corners of each photo
* Sanded 3 of the edges
* Mounted the photos side to side on blue crinkle paper
* Stamped with broken china distress ink a swirl on the background, as well as some
writing at the bottom of page
* Blue ribbon over the writing and "family" sentiment finished the page

This time, Bendré is the feature on this page ... WITH his fish of course!
After cutting and pasting the photo, i added a piece of music paper and a strip of crossword paper. Oh, and the clip!! I chalked the oval and added the sentiment and brads. The little flourish in the corner was actually a long one, i only chalked half of it and stamped one way, then chalked the other half and stamped downwards.

Challenge: Mojo Monday



This is page 3 of Anene's photobook. I made the page to match the sketch of Mojo Monday Week 130. I cut a scollop edge for the black paper, added a white "size" strip and ribbon and some wording. I then cut out the photos, sanded the edges and mounted on black and then red paper. I chalked the old playing card with black and stamped squares in the corner. I put a "BEST" rub-on on top and a lot of red brads to finish it off.

I've got to make an 8-page-booklet for a friend. It's about her family for her mother-in-law's birthday. She brought me 13 photos and i must "do whatever i like" :-). So ... here is page 1.

It also fitted the sketch over at Stamptacular Sunday's challenge.

Challenge x 5



One of the things i like to do, is to try and match from my older cards (before i had a blog and knew about challenges) on current challenges. It seldom works, but still nice trying. This is one of the lucky ones that actually did match a few challenges.

1. Pollycraft - sparkly things
2. Squigglefly - let it shine
3. Alphabet Challenge - T is for tag
4. Stampin 4 the weekend - monochromatic
5. Just scraps - black/white/red

I used a plain white card and chalked the edges with a little red.
Stamped a swirl on each side with Arcival ink
Added a sequin here and there to "let it shine"
Cut 3 different sized tags from different pattern papers
Glued 2 red stars to "sparkle" and a ribbon to match the lot

Challenges for SPRING

What a fun card! (Maybe because i LOVE all cow images :-)
Folded each side to the middle, to get a multi-fold card.
Coloured image with Derwents, cut into frame and chalked.
Added a strip of darker colour paper near inside edge of card.
Added brads to fabric flowers and glued in corner
Used rub-off ABC for sentiment

3. Fun with shapes - happy birthday

Used kraft cardstock as backgroud, added piece of green almost from half.
Cut out oval from celery paper and chalked edges.
Cut pieces of ribbon from 6 different colours, glued them at the back of oval.
Picked flowers to match theme
Typed and printed "happy birthday" to fit inside frame
Added brads and chalked sides of card.

Got the image from free digital collage sheet, sanded the edges
Used patterned paper for background
Cut 2 yellow strips and one green strip
Typed "a moment in time" and printes, "for keeps" = rub-off
Put a yellow flower inside a blue one, added a blue rhinestone

Was such a nice and rather quick card to make.
The 3 papers i used, came in a set, so they matched perfect.
Image was a freebie someone graciously offered.
Tore the sides of the image and mounted on plain and dotted paper.
Added the green ribbon, buttons and M for "mom"
Voila!

Got the image from "digital freebies" somewhere (sorry, can't remember from whom)
Printed on watercolour paper and coloured with Derwent's
Chalked sides with VersaMagic chalks
Used my brandnew pink/purple papers for the background, top strip and scollob
Sticker-sentiment from my stash
Ribbon (pink/purple) and buttons finished the card

Challenge: Scrap&Stamp, Practical Scrappers, Crazy 4 Challenges

3. Crazy 4 Challenges - a man's thing

I cut 2 strips of patterned paper to match the background colour.
I also cut a circle (used a Tupperware bowl to get the correct size).
Sanded all the photo's edges.
Put brads in the scollop edge.
Stamped in oppisite corners with white Versamagic.
Sentiment was written with white pen.
Stapled pieces of ribbon on the right side of the layout.

This is a 3-fold-card. The card was made from pink cardstock and the white/black patterned paper is embossed. It was used for a wedding invitation.

Added a flower and ribbon, text and corners.
And then ... only needed to glitter the flowers

Challenges: Annabelle Stamps, The sweet shop

* Coloured the digital (think from Michelle Perkett) with my Derwent's.
* Mounted patterned paper.
* Added lilac lace and purple magic ribbon.
* Put on some "flames" for the candles (rhinestones)

Took quite some time to find paper to use on this card, as i seldom work in orange.
Found these from my daughter's off-cuts and covered the card in my favourite dictionary paper, inked on the edges with a little orange.
The image was a free digi from someone (sorry, one i download them, i forget from where i got it).
3 flowers and 3 buttons ... and that's the end :-)

Coloured the free digital image with my Derwent's.
Pierced strip of paper, and faux stitched it.
Distressed card edges with Tea Dye Distress ink.
Cut out the angel and mounted on circle.
Added brads and sentiment plus glitter on the wings.

The image (from Pollycraft) was coloured with my Derwent's.
Background papers from my stash, cut the scallop as well.
Added 3 red rhinestones and the sentiment.

Quick invite



Pink Elephant - invitation

I had to do a REAL QUICK invite for a "doggie-lover-kiddo".
I cut a piece of "fake envelope" to attach to the card.
Draw lines like on a real envelope.
Added a dog sticker.
And wrote "uitnodiging".

Had a happy "client" :-)

Challenges: Truly Scruptious, My time 2 craft, Paper Sundaes



1. Truly Scrumptious - sketch + something "good enough to eat"
2. My time 2 craft - card for kidz
3. Paper Sundaes - blue, pink, green

I coloured the image (ice cream = good enough to eat) with my Derwent pencils and mounted on check and plain paper.
Put some patterned paper and two green strips in place.
Rounded off with 2 flowers and 2 blue brads.
Lastly ... a kid should always ... DREAM!
